Health Beyond the Supply Chain
We implement community-based health programs in Ghana, Côte d’Ivoire, and Uganda, focusing on prevention, access to primary care, and improvements in service quality.
Programs are delivered in collaboration with public health authorities, academic institutions, and local providers.
WHAT WE DO
How our programs are implemented
In the regions where we work, access to basic healthcare remains limited, particularly in rural areas where facilities are difficult to reach and health insurance coverage is low.
Our work focuses on practical interventions at the community level, combining field research, direct service delivery, and collaboration with local health systems.
-
We use field research and system assessments to identify where access to care breaks down and to inform program design.
This includes vaccination coverage studies and health system mapping in collaboration with academic and public health partners.
-
We deliver healthcare services directly to communities where facility-based care is not easily accessible.
This includes mobile clinics, outreach activities, and referral systems implemented with local health authorities.
-
We work with local health facilities to improve the quality and consistency of care.
This includes facility assessments, staff training, and the introduction of practical quality management approaches.
Three Program Pillars
OUR WORK
Each program is adapted with local stakeholders to fit local needs and health system realities.
Vaccination & Prevention
We support vaccination and prevention activities through outreach, coordination with local health authorities, and field research.
Community outreach and demand generation
Microplanning vaccination support and last-mile coordination
Monitoring and follow-up of under-served groups
Analyzing supply barriers and strengthening delivery platforms
Quality of Care Strengthening
We work with frontline providers to improve the consistency and quality of care in primary healthcare facilities.
Assessing facilities to identify gaps in equipment, processes, and organization
Training and mentoring healthcare staff during routine service delivery
Introducing simple routines to improve hygiene, organization, and patient flow
Support for basic clinical readiness and referral pathways
Mobile Health Services
We expand access to healthcare in areas where facilities are difficult to reach or not consistently accessible.
Bringing medical teams directly to communities through mobile clinics
Providing screening and basic treatment during outreach visits
Services include general outpatient care (e.g. malaria, hypertension), maternal and child health, and targeted screenings (e.g. TB, eye health)
Referral support for patients to appropriate facilities
Following up to ensure patients receive the care they need
